At Shine Communities, we are excited to introduce our new registration category: High Intensity Supports, an important expansion of our scope of practice to deliver specialist care within the community. High Intensity Supports are defined under the NDIS as supports for participants who rely on High Intensity Daily Personal Activities, including complex tasks such as enteral feeding and management, ventilator support, urinary catheter management, tracheostomy care, sub-cutaneous injections, dysphagia management, complex bowel or wound care. Our highly skilled, clinical-capable team, including nursing staff and allied health professionals, works in conjunction with other medical specialists to ensure that care is delivered safely, skilfully, and with the participant’s goals at the centre.
